Paper lanterns are a great way to add color and festivity to a space. Bright, big and bold, they have great impact, especially when clustered together. I’m always looking for ways to add color to my home so a few clusters of colorful lanterns are right up my alley! Look for lanterns in at least two sizes to create the best texture and interest.

Time required: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Screw in hooks
Paper lanterns
String or thread
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Assemble your lanterns as directed on the package.

2. Attach the string to the top wire, leaving a longer string than you think you will need.
3. Beginning with the largest or most colorful lantern, hold the lantern by the string and add additional lanterns, arranging them as you want them to lie.

4. Adjust the string so that the lanterns are where you want them and tie them off with a loop at the top.
5. Attach the loop to the hook, checking for the length and adjusting as needed.
