Age range: 8 and up

Things you’ll need:
Dowel rod
Macrame feathers
Macrame cord
Scissors
Yard stick
Wood beads

Things to do:
1. Follow our Macrame Feather Charms tutorial and make 3-5 feathers.
2. Loop the feathers around the center of your dowel.
3. Slide two beads onto a 20″ piece of macrame cord.
4. Tie the cord to the ends of the dowel.
5. Slide your wooden beads over the cord ends to cover them.

Upcyle an Old Container into a Reusable Snack Pack

Take an old container and turn it into a re-useable snack pack.

Things you’ll need:
Milk container
Scissors/knife
Pen
Velcro
Measuring utensil

Things to do:
1. Measure 3 sides of your milk container at 4″
2. Measure the final side at 7″
3. Cut around the container at the marked measurements.
4. Take the two smaller sides and pinch them together.
5. Fold over the longer side and get a good crease.
6. Add velcro to lid area to hold in place.
7. Leave as is or decorate with paint, stickers, or washi tape.

Wah-la, an easy, ready to use, reusable snack container.
