How to Make Wood Spoon Flowers


This cute woodsy flower is so quick and easy to make- you’ll want a whole garden of them. Use it as a place setting decoration, attach it to a napkin holder, adorn a wreath, or add a loop hanger for an ornament.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 20- 30 minutes
Age range: 13 years old to adult (hot glue gun)

Things you need:
1- wood circle
21 – birch wood tasting spoons
Scissors
Glue gun and glue sticks
Pencil
Ruler
Button

Things to do:
1. Using pencil, mark 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″ from edge of wood circle.

2. Cut 21 wooden spoons at base with scissors (don’t use your good ones!)

3. Using glue gun, glue bases of 9 spoons around edge of wood circle- they should just touch at widest ppoint. Base of each petal should line up on 1/2″ mark.

4. For next row of petals, glue 7 spoons around using 3/4″ guide. Stagger petals from first row.

5. For final row, use 1″ mark as guide and glue last 5 petals on. Finish by gluing button to center.
