How to Make Valentine’s Day Cupid’s Arrows


This fun and festive project is the perfect rainy day activity for your kids. Make the arrows in bulk and attach them in candy bags for the little ones to give away at school or use them as decoration around the house.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 5 Minutes
Age range: 7 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Wooden dowels
Foam glitter sheets
Baker’s twine
Feathers
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Fold you sheet of glitter foam in half and cut a half heart shape.


2. Trace the heart onto the foam and cut out another identical one.

3. Glue the heart shapes on the end of the wooden dowel to create the point of the arrow.


4. Use glue to attach three feathers together.


5. Secure the feathers to the top of the dowel by wrapping baker’s twine around the ends.

6. Continue wrapping the dowel with baker’s twine until several inches are covered. Secure the end of the string with glue.
