Difficulty level: Intermediate
Age range: 12 and Up
Time to complete: 15 Minutes

Things you’ll need:
Tissue Paper
Baker’s Twine
Hole Punch
Pencil
Scissors

Things to do:
1. The first step is folding the tissue paper. Start by folding it in half four times. It should end up looking like a square after four folds. Next, fold it into a triangle shape twice. Finally, take the top layer of the triangle and fold it back onto itself and bring the single layer underneath the shape. Checkout the pictures and video for help. Once you learn the pattern, it’s really simple!

2. Draw a half circle around the tip of the triangle and cut out the shape.

3. Open up the tissue paper shape to reveal a flower pattern.

4. Stack the tissue shapes on top of one another, staggering the petals as you go.

5. Fold the stack in half and punch a hole in the center. This will create two holes.

6. Run a piece of baker’s twine through the holes, tying it tightly to create a full flower.

7. Crumple the petals up towards the center, until it looks like a beautiful flower.
