Time required: 15 minutes, plus 24 hours to allow glue to dry
Age range: 8 and up

Things you’ll need:
Wax paper
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Glue
Glitter
White felt (for backing)
Pen or marker
Curved Alligator Clips

Things to do:
1. Using multipurpose glue, draw any shape you’d like onto onto wax paper.
Tip: You can draw hearts, stars, geometric shapes, or anything else you’d like! You may want to draw several different shapes so you can pick the one you like most.

2. Sprinkle glitter over the shape, covering the shape entirely. Allow it to dry.

3. Peel the shape from the wax paper carefully and slowly.

Tip: If you find that your edges are jagged or not super neat, you can use scissors to trim them up.

4. To create a felt backing, place the shape on felt then trace around it.

5. Cut out the felt shape.

6. Glue the felt backing to the shape.

7. Repeat steps 3-6 for any other shapes you want to use.
8. Decide on your design. You can pick an individual shape, or you can glue two or more shapes together like we did here. If you glue shapes together, allow them to dry before proceeding to the next step.

9. Place a small amount of glue on the alligator clip, then glue the shape to the alligator clip.
