Make clay charms and ornaments with your child or grandchild, and keep them busy for hours! They’ll get to use their fine motor skills and create a project they’ll be proud to show off. These can be used for ornaments or even chunky necklaces for kids.

Things you’ll need
Cookie cutters
Corn starch
Multi-purpose glue
Acrylic paint
Paint brushes
Spoon and bowl
Things to do:
1. Combine two parts corn starch with one part multi-purpose glue. You can make 2 charms from 1/2 C of starch and 1/4 C of glue. Stir together.
2. After stirring, form into a ball.
3. The clay should look like this.
4. Flatten the ball on a smooth surface.
5. Use your cookie cutter to create a shape.
6. Peel away the excess and use to form more balls and shapes.
7. Punch a hole at the top of the charm.
8. Allow to dry overnight.
9. Decorate your charms as desired.
