How to Make a Spring Bunny Hair Clip Tutorial

She’ll love this adorable bunny clip. Perfect all spring long, the clip looks more difficult to make than it is! Loops of ribbon, a couple of google eyes and craft poms, and you’ve got it made!

Things you’ll need:
Two sizes (5/8-inch, 1/4-inch) of white ribbon:
White pom poms
Pink pom pom
Pink grosgrain ribbon
Assorted googly eyes
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Scissors
Metal barrette
Needle
Thread

Things to do:
1. Thread your needle and knot one end. Leaving the ribbon on the spool, create a double-looped bow a little larger than your barrette. Slip the needle into the center, but don’t pull it all the way through.

2. Continue looping ribbon, about the same size as the first loops, pushing the center of the loops on top of the needle.

3. Continue with at least 4 loops on each side, as shown.

4. Sew through the middle now, securing all the loops. Clip the thread and the ribbon.

5. Cut two pieces of the larger white ribbon to 5 inches long.

6. Fold them into “ears” as shown, gluing them together at the bottom.

7. Glue the ears to the back of the bow you finished in step 4.

8.Glue on the eyes and nose pieces.

9. Create a little bow or another embellishment for the top.

10. Glue the embellishment in place.
