How to Make a Pumpkin Mason Jar Tutorial

Paint some quirky and practical mason jar pumpkins for the holidays. If these will be decorations, use hot glue for the step at the top. If you’re planning to use these frequently, glue the knob and felt with E6000 glue.

Things you’ll need:
Mason jar
Orange acrylic paint
Brown acrylic paint
Green felt sheet
Green pipe cleaner
Unfinished wooded knob
Paint brush
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
E6000 glue *optional

Things to do:
1. Paint the mason jar and lids as shown. You’ll need to paint two coats for more even coverage. Allow to dry between coats.

2. Twirl a pipe cleaner around the knob. To make a coil, wrap the pipe cleaner around your finger.

3. Cut a leaf from the felt. Glue the leaf and knob to the top of the lid, using either hot glue (if this is just decor) or E6000 if this will receive more use. If using E6000, allow to dry overnight.
