Bring some color into her life with this whimsical peacock hair clip. With just some scraps of ribbon and glue, you’ll create a ribbon sculpture you’re sure to get compliments about!

Things you’ll need:
Narrow blue, purple, and green ribbon
Scrap of orange ribbon
Ruler
Barrettes
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Scissors
Pencil
Things to do:
1. Cut five pieces of ribbon to 3″. Cut another five to 3 1/4 “. Finally, cut a another five to 3 1/2 “. Warm up your hot glue gun.
2. The green shown here is our smallest ribbon. Fold the smallest ribbon as shown and glue in place.
3. Repeat for the other 3″ ribbons.
4. Now, switch to 3 1/4 ” ribbons. Glue one in place as shown, over the smaller ribbon.
5. Repeat for the remaining four medium-length ribbons.
6. Finally, repeat the process for the longest ribbons.
7. Glue two of the tear-drop shapes as shown.
8. Add two more.
9. Finally, add the last set in the middle.
10. Cut a piece of ribbon to 18 inches. Fold another tear drop shape as shown. Glue in place, but don’t clip the end of the ribbon.
11. Turn this upside down and fold the long piece downward as shown. Glue in place.
12. Loop another tear drop shape around the bottom, and glue in place. Create the neck as shown. Clip, and glue onto the barrette.
13. Glue a triangle of orange ribbon on as a beak.
