How to Make a Paper Plate Easter Bunny


This paper plate bunny is the perfect craft to do with young children. They’ll have so much fun painting the paper plates and creating their own pet to play with and enjoy.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 Minutes
Age range: 6 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Two paper plates
2 – white pom poms
1 – Pink pom pom
Googly eyes
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
Pink acrylic paint
Paint brush
Burlap bowtie (learn how to make your own here)

Things to do:
1. First, we’re going to make the ears of the bunny. Start by cutting a paper plate in half and painting the center with pink acrylic paint.


2. Attach the ears to the back of another paper plate with hot glue, creating a head.

3. Use hot glue to attach pom poms and googly eyes to the center of your plate.

4. Finish the project by attaching a burlap bow tie to the bottom of the plate.
