How to Make a Felt Pumpkin Pie Slice

Create an adorable felt pumpkin pie slice, that can be used to create a banner (using multiple slices), decor, an addition to an existing pennant, or even as an seasonal felt food toy for your little one.

Difficulty level: Beginner

Things you’ll need:
Felt
Hot glue gun/hot glue sticks
Scissors
Ruler

Things to do:
1. Using a ruler, create a triangle shape on your orange colored felt and carefully cut it out.

2. Cut out a rectangular piece of tan colored felt that is longer than the width of your triangle shaped piece.

3. Using your hot glue, attach your tan rectangular strip to the top of your triangle. Ruffle the felt along the way to create a crimped crust appearance.

4. Using a white bit of felt or a white pom pom, create a dollop of whipped cream on top of the pie. Using the felt, we scrunched a small piece up and attached it with hot glue.
5. We attached our pie piece to a pennant flag, by first hot gluing a stiffened doily on top (to stiffen a doily, saturate it with stiffening glue, and allow to dry), and then hot gluing our pie piece on top.
