How to Make a Boxwood Wreath

Put away your wire and grab your hot glue gun! This DIY will save you time and trouble, making it easy to create a gorgeous boxwood wreath in no time at all.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Moss
Styrofoam wreath form
Artificial boxwood picks
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Wire cutters

Things to do:
1. The first step is covering the wreath form in moss. This will make the wreath appear thicker and fuller, hiding all the white Styrofoam.

2. Trim the stems on your boxwood so they’re about 1-inch long.
3. Push the boxwood stems through the wreath form. Trim any excess wire.
3. Continue poking boxwood pieces into the Styrofoam until the entire wreath is covered.

    1. Great question, Jen! We used a 12-inch flat back styofoam wreath. I would suggest using 3-5 bundles of boxwood picks, depending on your preference of fullness. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Happy crafting!
