Homemade Lavender Soap Video Tutorial

This lovely lavender soap smells wonderful and leaves your skin feeling silky soft. Unlike other soap tutorials, this video does not require you to make the soap yourself. This easy project gives you the luxury of custom, goat’s milk soap without the hassle of mixing the ingredients together. You’ll love to use the finished project, and give it as gifts to all of your friends!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Age range: 8 and Up
Time to complete: 1 hour

Things you’ll need:
Goat’s Milk Soap
Lavender
Soap Mold
Glass Container

Things to do:
1. Cut a block of soap off of the goat’s milk soap bar. Place it in a glass container and heat it in the microwave. I’ve found that 30 seconds is a good starting time. Continue adding time until the soap reaches a smooth texture, without lumps.

2. Pour lavender into the bottom of the soap mold.

3. Pour the heated soap over the lavender in the soap mold. Fill the mold completely. The lavender will suspend throughout the soap, giving you a nice and even look.

4. Once you’ve filled the molds, allow 40 minutes, 1 hour to harden before use.
