Guest Blog: Altered Tags


Hello! Boy do I have a fun post for you today! When I was browsing through the store ( I just love seeing all of the beautiful crafty stuff pop up on my screen at one time! ) I came across these fabulous clear tags that I just had to get my hands on. These things are so versatile, easy to work with, and durable that you’ll be happy they come in a huge pack because you won’t be able to stop playing with them! Let me show you a few things I created with these nifty little guys…

Gift Tag
Things you’ll need:
Clear Acrylic Scalloped Tags
Twine
Brad
Patterned Paper
Stamps
Staz-On Ink Pad

Things to do:
1. Use tag as a template and trace it onto patterned paper and cut out.
2. Stamp image and sentiment onto your tag ( tip: stamp it first on a practice tag, then onto your real tag to get a crisper image)
3. Add Brad through the whole and tie on the twine.

Things you’ll need:
Clear Acrylic Scalloped Tags
Twine
Brad
Star Rhinestones
Diamond Glaze
Cardstock
Stamp
Staz-On Ink Pad

Things to do:
1. Use tag as a template and trace onto cardstock then cut it out.
2. Stamp Sentiment
3. Adhere stars and let dry.
4. Make tassel out of twine by wrapping in multiple loops, tie off around the bottom and snip off the top part of the loops.
5. Add brad and tie on twine


Name Tag
Things you’ll need:
Clear Acrylic Scalloped Tags
Grosgrain Ribbon
Letter Stickers
Rub-ons

Things to do:
1. Use stickers to spell out names.
2. Add rub-ons
3. Tie on ribbon
