Sweet and charming just as a display or doubly cute as a holder for holiday greetings, this Giant Clothespin Snowman is the perfect winter decoration. While the clothespin stands up beautifully on its own, this could also be adorable with magnets on the back so that it hangs from the fridge or as the centerpiece on a wreath.
Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes plus dry time
Things you’ll need:
Giant Clothespin
White paint
Orange paint or marker
Black paint or marker
Paint brush
Scrap of flannel or fleece
Scissors
Things to do:
1. On a covered work surface, paint the clothespin with a thin coat of white paint.
2. While the paint dries, cut a strip of flannel 2 inches wide by 18 inches long.
3. Trim the ends of the flannel into a fringe to make a scarf for your snowman.
4. Once the paint is dry, paint or draw button eyes, a carrot noes and coal mouth.
5. When the face is dry, tie the scarf around the point of the spring to finish.
