Felt and Ribbon Eggs

These little eggs are perfect for any little ones in your life who are just too little to dye eggs. Trimmed with ribbon scraps and lightly stuffed, they’ll make any of your little bunnies happy. You can also switch out the batting for rice or beans to make Easter themed beanbags!

Things you’ll need:
Felt, pastel colors
Ribbon
Scissors
Batting
Sewing machine and notions

Things to do:
1. Cut out two egg shapes for each egg you want to make.

2. Stack two of the eggs together and lay scraps of ribbon across the eggs. Pin in place
3. Stitch around the egg with a 1/8-inch seam allowance leaving 1/2 inch unsewn along one side.

4. Insert enough stuffing to create a slightly rounded egg.
5. Stitch the hole closed.
6. Trim around the egg, cutting off any excess threads and ribbon.
