Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 10 Minutes
Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Felt (colors of your choice)
Scissors
Heart-shaped cookie cutter
Embroidery Floss
Needle
Tacky glue
Candy
Felt embellishments

Things to do:
1. Trace three heart shapes onto a sheet of felt. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter is a great way to make sure your shapes remain consistent. Cut out the shapes.

2. Measure two inches down from the top of the heart shape and cut the heart.

3. Measure two inches down from the bottom and cut another heart.
4. Once you have your three pieces cut out, the next step is to sew them together. Begin by laying the triangle shape down first, then laying the top of the heart on top so it is overlapping. Finally, lay the whole heart shape on top of the pieces and stitch them together with embroidery floss.

5. Use clear glue to add felt embellishments to the front of the valentine.

6. Add a piece of candy inside and share it with your valentine.
