Have you ever been wrapping a gift only to find that you don’t have a single bow or piece of ribbon in the house? Well fear that moment no more, creating your own bow is fast and simple and ultra customizable with this simple technique. No felt? Try making it with scrapbook paper or ribbon!

Things you need:
1 felt square
Craft glue
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut your felt into strips along the long side, each about 3/4 of an inch wide. Until you have 7 strips. Set the rest aside.
2. Set three aside at the full length then trim 1 inch off of three more. Finally cut one strip in half.
3. Starting with the longest strips, create a figure 8 out of each piece, flipping the direction of the strip as you bring it across so that the top and bottom of the 8 are slightly pointy. Repeat with the 5 longer strips that remain.

4. Turn the final two shortest strips into O’s by gluing the ends together.
5. From the remaining felt cut a circle with a two-inch diameter.
6. Using the circle as a base, overlap and glue the three larger 8’s in place, making sure they are evenly spaced. Repeat with the smaller three, nestling them into the center of the bigger ones. Fill in the gab in the center with the two loops.
