Fancy Tags with Washi and Stamps

I’m something of a tag-a-holic when it comes to the holidays. I really prefer a good tag over ribbon (although I usually choose both!) so I like to have a whole stash ready for the gift giving season. This fancy tag is perfect for smaller gifts where there might not be room for tags and ribbon, and with a little bit of decoration, you’d never notice that the ribbon was missing!

Difficulty level: easy
Time required: 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Tags with two holes
Hemp twine
Washi Tape and/or Stamps and Stamp pad
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Decorate your tags. If using washi tape, either wrap all the way around or trim at the edges for the most polished look. With stamps, center the stamp on the tag.

2. Cut two pieces of twine long enough to more than wrap around your package.
3. Fold one piece in half and thread the ends through one hole, and then through the loop created from the fold. Pull the two ends tight to form a knot. Repeat with the other hole.

4. Place the tag on the top of the box and tie the two sets of twine together at the back. Trim away excess twine.
