This is an easy DIY that will dress up any special event or party you are throwing. These straws would be especially nice for a baby or bridal shower. You can easily coordinate the ribbon and straws to match your specific color scheme.

Time required: 5 minutes
Age range: anyone old enough to tie shoes!

Things you’ll need:
White grosgrain ribbon
Paper straws
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut a piece of ribbon about 16″ long.

2. Tie the ribbon into a bow at the top of the straw. To do this, the ribbon should cross left over right, then tied into a knot. Then create a loop on the right side, swing and loop the left around the right loop and pull the loop through to create the bow.


3. Tighten and fluff your ribbon as desired. Cut off any extra ribbon from each end with your scissors.
