Easy Paper Turkey Napkin Holders

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and in our house we have a tradition of making new napkin rings or clips each year, with the help of the kids of course. This year our table will be sporting these super cute folded paper turkey clips which even little hands can help with. Change up the colors scheme and style by using different colors and patterns of paper to suit your own needs and get folding!

Things you’ll need:
Scrapbook paper
Clothespins
Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Markers or pens
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut a rectangle our of the paper for each clothespin that is just slightly wider than the length of the pin and about 1 1/2 times the length.

2. Fold the paper, starting at a narrow end, into an accordion fold, with each pleat about the width of the clothespin.

3. Fold the pleated paper in half and round the ends.
4. Glue the bottom pleat to the top of the clothespin* and then bring the two halves of the top pleat up together and glue them in place to create a half circle. Add dabs of glue as needed to keep the circle shape solid.

5. Cut out a bowling ball shaped piece of paper for the body of the turkey and glue it to the center-fold of the circle, adding eyes and a beak with your markers.

* Always use adult supervision when working with a hot glue gun!
