Easy DIY Toothpick Valentine Arrows

Sweet as can be, these toothpick arrows are the perfect addition to decorate cards, cakes or gifts. Leave the “point” off one and top a cake or bundle them together into a little quiver of love. These can also be made with skewers, either full length or trimmed shorter, depending on the size of arrow you want.

Time required: 5 minutes
Difficulty level: Easy

Things you’ll need:
Washi tape in two colors

Things to do:
1. Cut a length of washi tape long enough to double over each end of the toothpick and create a rectangle.

2. Trim one end into a point for the arrow.

3. On the other end, trim the edge into a V and the corresponding corner opposite into the same angled V to create the feather.

4. Make short, even cuts along the feather for a more feathery look.
