Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 Minutes
Age range: 10 and Up

Things you’ll need:
A variety of mismatched socks in different sizes
Stuffing
Buttons in various sizes
Jute twine
Dowel
Six 1 inch round magnets
Scissors
Crafter’s Pick glue
Ribbon
Needle and Thread
1/2 inch square wood bead

Things to do:
1. The first step is sewing the buttons onto the sock, creating the eyes of the fish.

2. Place the magnet into the toe of the sock, before filling it full of stuffing.

3. Use the ribbon to secure the end of the sock. Tie a knot, creating a tail.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you have made five fish.

5. The next step is creating the fishing pole. Begin by using Crafter’s glue to attach a 3ft. piece of jute to the end of the dowel. Cover the last two inches of the dowel with glue, and wrap the jute around until the end is covered, leaving a length of jute hanging from the end.

6. Tie your 1/2 inch square block to the end of the jute.

7. Use Crafter’s glue to attach the magnet to the bottom of the square block.
