This delicate stenciling of a pumpkin (here we used a fake pumpkin so it can be used year in and year out) is a soft, subtle but no less spooky item to add to your Halloween decor.
Things you’ll need:
Pumpkin
Paper Doilies
Scissors
Black permanent Marker with a fine tip
Tape
Things to do:
1. Fold a doily in quarters and then open. Cut an inch in from the center point on all of the fold lines.
2. Center the doily onto the top of the pumpkin, fitting the stem through the cut x”.
3. Tape in place evenly around the pumpkin. You’ll need to gently fold the edges of the doily to work the paper smoothly around the sides.
4. Working with your marker, color through the holes in the doily. Work around the folds, you won’t notice them when the paper comes off. Be sure to use some of those very small dots! They add a lot of detail!
5. Allow the marker to dry and then carefully peel the tape off of the pumpkin to reveal the lacy markings.
