Looking for an easy and chic Valentine’s Day decor craft? Well, you are in the right place! Here is how to make your own XOXO Vase Decor:

Things you will need:
Decorative Glass Vase
Bubblegum Pink Extra Fine Glitter
2 Unfinished Wooden Letter “X”
2 Unfinished Wooden Letter “O”
Unfinished Wooden Hearts
Fuchsia Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
Ebony Extra Fine Glitter
Black Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
Mod Podge
Sticks

Things to do:
1. Start by painting an unfinished wooden X with the fuschia paint, focusing on the outside edges.

2. Repeat step 1 with the second X and the unfinished wooden hearts. One coat of paint should be sufficient, as they will be covered with glitter. If using a lighter color, the edges may need additional coats of paint. Set aside to dry.

3. Paint an unfinished wooden O with the black paint, focusing again on the edges.

4. Paint the second letter O with the black, then set them both aside to dry.

5. My daughter had fun collecting sticks from the yard for the XOXO Vase project. Decide, which sticks to use by arranging them in the vase. Clean sticks with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol.

6. Brush on an even coat of Mod Podge over the entire branch, except the very bottom.

7. Hold the bottom of the stick, without Mod Podge. Over a paper lined container, generously pour the Ebony Extra Fine Glitter over the Mod Podge. Shake up excess glitter. Touch up any empty spots by adding more Mod Podge and glitter. Shake off glitter again and set aside to dry.

8. Brush Mod Podge on the top of each unfinished wooden letter “O”.

9. Over a paper lined container, generously pour the Ebony Extra Fine Glitter over the Mod Podge on each letter O. Shake off excess glitter.
10. Fold paper in half and pour glitter back into the container.

11. Brush Mod Podge on the top of each unfinished wooden letter “X”.

12. Over a paper lined container, generously pour the Fuschia Extra Fine Glitter over the Mod Podge on each letter X. Shake off excess glitter.

13. Repeat steps 11 and 12 with the unfinished wooden hearts. Set all items aside to dry.
14. Fold paper in half and pour glitter back into the container.

15. Add a small amount of hot glue to the tip of a branch.

16. Then, place a glittered heart onto the glue. Hold for a few seconds until the glue starts to step. Repeat step 15 and 16 with each branch.

17. Add hot glue to each inside edge of the glittered X.

18. Press and hold the letter O to the letter X. Repeat with second letter X and O.
