Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Age range: 12 and up
Things you’ll need:
Beads
Jute
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Hot glue
Things to do:
1. First, make a set of tassels for the ends of your garland. Wrap jute around your hands until you reach your desired thickness. Slide your finger through the loop and wrap a 12-inch piece of jute just below, securing the ends with hot glue. Trim the other side, creating an even tassel. Repeat this step so you have two, identical tassels.
2. Now you get to string your garland! Slide beads onto a piece of jute until you reach your desired length.
3. When you’ve finished stringing beads, trim the ends of the jute, leaving 6-inches extra on both sides.
4. Slide the tassels onto the jute and tie them in place. Trim any excess jute.
