DIY Wood Slice Rustic Alphabet Magnets


Alphabet magnets are a part of life when you have little kids, but there’s no reason that the magnets on your fridge can’t be neat ones! These awesome, rustic, wood slice alphabet magnets are so fun and totally personalizeable! Make a standard set of letters or create enough for whole sentences, family names or favorite words!

Things you’ll need:
Wood slices
Pencil
Wood burning tool
Magnets
Craft glue

Things to do:
1. Using a template or freehand, draw the letters onto the wood slices using your pencil.

2. With the chisel or find tip screwed into it, heat up your wood burning tool and trace the outsides of the letters.
3. Fill in the letters with the shading tool or using patterns or crosshatching.

4. Once the letters are done, flip the wood slices over and attach a magnet with a generous dollop of glue. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly before attaching to your fridge.
