DIY Wood Slice Checkers

I have a little boy who loves to play checkers and his favorite partner is always his dad. It’s one of their “things” that they do together and I love to see it. This Father’s Day we’ve got a plan to give daddy a special, kiddo-made set of checkers that they can tote to the woods or the lake or just the back porch. Check out our burlap checkerboard tutorial, it makes the perfect match for these rustic, fun checkers.
