DIY Vintage Watercolor Flower Tags


These pretty flower tags add a colorful, vintage touch to gifts, cards or signs as well as a little depth and texture to their style. Perfect for Spring holidays, birthdays or any days, these tags are simple to make and can be personalized with favorite vintage buttons for the finish. While any watercolor paints will give this look, shimmery paints will add a lovely sheen to the finished flowers.

Time required: 10 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Flower tags
Watercolors paints
Paintbrush
Water
Buttons
Craft glue

Things to do:
1. On a covered work surface, lightly paint each of the sizes of flower tags a different shade with the watercolors.


2. Allow the pieces to dry and then stack them, largest to smallest, adding a little glue between each to secure.
3. Finish the flowers with a pretty button glued on top of the holes. Use double sided tape or glue to add it to a gift.
