Time to complete: 30 Minutes
Difficulty level: Beginner
Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Tissue Paper
Scissors
Paper Clips
Denim Blue Bakers twine or other colors of your choice

Things to do:
1. Take a piece of tissue paper and fold it into fourths. Start by folding it in half, then fold it in half again. Be sure that the folds are crisp. Use a paperclip to mark the top. The top of the tissue paper square will have two edges.

2. Start cutting 1/2 inch strips from the bottom of the square to the top.

3. Remove the paper clips and unfold the tissue paper. The paper rips easily, so be careful when you’re separating the strips.

4. Once you’ve unfolded the tissue paper, roll it up tightly. The finished roll should look like a baton, with fringe on either side.

5. Fold the roll in half and twist it to create a small loop in the center.

6. Run the twine through the loop.

7. Repeat steps 1-6 until you’ve reached your desired length.
