This sunflower kissing ball is a great way to add a bright pop of color to your fall flower garden. In just a few easy steps, you can transform a fake bouquet into a modern decoration. Play around with different flowers until you find a look that complements your outdoor living space perfectly.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 Minutes
Age range: 10 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam ball
Foamtastic Glue
Artificial sunflower heads
Natural Hemp Cord
Scissors

Things to do:
1. The first step is popping the sunflower blooms off of the bunch. A slight pull will remove the flower, leaving you with a short stem that is perfect for attaching the flowers to the Styrofoam base.
2. Once you’ve loosened the flowers, apply a small drop of glue to the stem and poke them into the Styrofoam ball. A random placement looks best.

3. Cut small pieces of greenery and use Foamtastic glue to secure them to the Styrofoam ball.

4. Continue repeating steps 2 and 3 until the entire surface is covered in sunflower blooms.
5. Cut a piece of hemp cord to create a hanger. Use a pair of scissors to punch a hole in the top of the Styrofoam ball and fill the hole with glue. Place both ends of the hemp cord into the glue and let it dry until it is secured.
