DIY Sugared Gourds

I’m a little big of a gourd and pumpkin addict, I must admit. I love to have them all around the house this time of year in all forms and these glittered gourds are high on my list of musts. With the appearance of being sugared, these glittered gourds are the perfect addition to centerpieces, wreaths, and table decorations all through the fall.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 20 minutes plus dry time.

Things you’ll need:
Artificial gourds and pumpkins
Mod Podge
Foam brush
Fine white glitter

Things to do:
1. Remove the stems of each gourd and stem and set aside.

2. Paint a thin coat of Mod Podge over the entire surface of the gourd.

3. Sprinkle glitter over the entire surface, shaking and tapping it to spread the glitter evenly around the surface of the gourd.
4. Pour a small pile of glitter onto your work surface and set the pumpkin on it to dry without the pumpkin sticking to the work surface.

5. Once the glitter is dry, replace the stems.
