Looking for an inexpensive hair accessory for your summer wedding? These mini succulent hairpins take only a few minutes to make and look lovely with a low chignon or boho braid.

Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Mini succulent
Bobby pin
Wire cutters
Floral wire

Things to do:
1. Cut an 8-inch piece of wire.

2. Trim the stem of your succulent, leaving 3/4 inch to secure to your Bobby pin.

3. If the succulent is not firmly attached to its stem, use a drop of hot glue to hold it in place.
4. Lay the stem of the succulent alongside the bobby pin and attach it with wire. Start by threading the wire through the center of the Bobby pin and wrapping it tightly around one side.

5. Trim any excess wire.
