DIY Rustic Log Slice Wreath


Have fun bringing bits of nature into your home with a fabulous DIY. This beautiful wreath adds the perfect touch of shabby-chic to your home decor!

Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Wood slices
Styrofoam wreath form
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Artificial moss
Artificial greenery
Wired ribbon
Scissors
Wire cutters
Wreath hanger
Floral wire

Things to do:
1. The first step is adding the log slices to the wreath form. Apply a small drop of hot glue to the back of the log slice and place it directly on the Styrofoam. Repeat this step until the entire surface is covered. Don’t worry about small gaps. we’ll fill those in later!


2. Now that the log slices are covering the surface, we’re going to fill in the empty spaces. Cover any white gaps with hot glue and fill them in with moss.

3. Trim branches of greenery and flowers to create the perfect bouquet to adorn your wreath. Secure the bouquet in place using wire.


4. Tie a beautiful bow and use wire to attach it to the bottom corner of your wreath, hiding the stems of your bouquet.
