1. The first step is measuring a length of ribbon for your bookmark. Choose a book to use as your guide and wrap the ribbon around the outside to determine the proper length.


2. After you’ve cut the ribbon, it’s time to sew a loop at each end. Use a needle and thread to sew the ends back, creating a 1-2 inch loop.

3. Tie a piece of elastic cord through an end loop.


4. The final step is sewing a button to the loop opposite of the elastic cord. Once it’s attached, loop the elastic cord around your button and enjoy your book!
