Want retro ornaments without spending a fortune? Easily create vintage inspired ornaments with a few simple steps.

Things you’ll need:
Colorful ornaments
Mod Podge
Glitter
Paint Brush/Skewer Stick/Toothpick
Optional: Fingernail Polish Remover, Cotton Pad, Tassels

Things to do:
1. Find glass ornaments that have a bit of wear. If you cannot find any, use fingernail polish remover and a cotton pad, and lightly wipe over the ornament. This will remove a bit of the color and give your ornament a bit of “age”.
2. Use mod podge to create retro inspired designs on your ornaments. Zig Zags, polka dots, etc. We used the tip of a skewer stick for a thick accurate design, but a paint brush or tooth pick would work as well.

3. Sprinkle your glitter on top of your mod podge design. Fully cover and shake off extra glitter and allow to dry.

4. Optional: Add tassels or rick rack to give it an extra vintage flair!
