DIY Potpouri Jar

Whatever the time of year, nothing makes a house more homely, than the lovely soft smell of potpourri. While an open bowl is the traditional way of keeping potpourri around, it’s not always the most practical, especially if you have small children or if space is an issue. This project offers a simple, charming way of displaying and using the potpourri in your home in a sweet, space efficient style.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: less than 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Potpourri
Large Mason Jar
Flower frog jar lid
1-inch wide ribbon
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Fill your jar almost to the top with potpourri, leaving a little room to give the contents a shake every now and then.

2. Screw the flower frog top onto the jar.
3. Cut a 2-foot length of ribbon and wrap around the neck of the jar. Tie a bow to finish and trim ribbon tails as needed.
