Things you’ll need:
Stiffened felt sheets
Wooden dowels
Scissors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Sharpie
Cutting mat

Things to do:
1. In this tutorial, we’re going to make a bowtie prop. Start by cutting a 2×5 inch rectangle out of stiffened felt.

2. Mark the center of your rectangle with a sharpie.

3. Cut a diagonal line from each corner to 1/2 inch from the center of the rectangle.

4. Cut a small rectangle from the corner of a different colored piece of stiffened felt.

5. Round the corners of your bowtie and small rectangle piece.
6. Peel the layer from the back of your rectangle and stick it to the center of your bowtie.

7. Cut colorful decorations and stick them on your bowtie. For this prop, I chose to add stripes.
8. Apply a drop of hot glue to the back of your prop and attach the wooden dowel. Allow the glue time to dry completely before use.
