DIY Ombre Glitter Tape Dispenser

Tape is a hot commodity in our house; it’s always in high demand for crafts, art hanging and various other projects. So I like to make sure that MY tape is very noticeable as MINE (otherwise I’d never have any tape), and this glitter tape dispenser is a sure way to denote the tape that is Mama’s, so that it stays put on my desk.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 5 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Enclosed tape dispenser
Craft glue
Glitter
Paintbrush

Things to do:
1. Pull apart the two halves of the tape dispenser and remove the tape.

2. Paint a thin coat of glue in the insides of the two halves, starting at the bottom and brushing upwards so that there is more glue at the bottom and less toward the top.
3. Pour glitter into each half near the bottom and tap to distribute across the bottom of the halves then tilt to work the glitter toward the top. You want most of the glitter at the bottom with it fizzing out as it moves upward. Allow the glue to dry.

4. Slip tape onto the wheel and push the two halves of the tape dispenser together.
