DIY Ocean Terrarium Ornament


Dreaming of the sea? Whether you’re living by beach or simply want to add a summer touch to your home decor, these ocean terrariums look lovely on display!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
Sand
Shells
Acrylic Globe
Rope
Jute

Things to do:
1. Use hot glue to secure a few shells to the bottom of your acrylic globe.



2. Fill the globe with sand and seal it shut.

3. Cut a 12-inch piece of jute, slide it through the hanger on the top of the globe and tie it in a knot.

4. Use hot glue to secure the end of your rope to the top of your globe. Continue to wrap it around the top until you cover 1/3 of the globe. Use glue to secure the end in place.
