Ring in the new year with the fabulous, sparkly and fun star headband. The metallic pipe cleaners add plenty of sparkle and are easy to use and attach to the headband.

Things you’ll need:
Silver metal headbands
Gold metallic pipe cleaners
Silver metallic tinsel pipe cleaners
Wire cutters or scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Star template

Things to do:
1. Form a pipe cleaner into the shape of a star. Arrange the points inside the lines of the star template, using it as a guide to form the bends and points.

2. The star should look like this when complete.

3. Repeat with two more pipe cleaners.

4. Wrap the headband with another pipe cleaner. You don’t need to cover every part of the headband – the silver of the headband adds interest.

5. Cut pieces of pipe cleaner to about 3 inches each.

6. Use these pieces to attach the stars to the headband. Consider adding a drop of hot glue to keep everything in place for the big celebration!
