DIY Moss Covered Monogram Letters


Rustic and woodsy decor calls for some interesting ways to spruce up a mantel or bookshelf. On-trend personalization is made easy by adding some sheet moss to show off your style and your initials!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
Sheet moss
Wooden letter or other wood letters of your choice
Hot glue gun and hot glue

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Pull off a small quantity of moss.

2. Shape the moss and compress it so that it will easily fit on your wooden letter.

3. Squeeze the glue onto the wooden letter and press the moss in place. Be careful not to burn your fingers with the hot glue! Use a wooden dowel or another tool to press the moss onto the letter if you have concerns about touching the glue.

4. Cover the enter front, top, and sides of your letter!
