DIY Mod Podge Clothes Hangers

Hangers are, just by their very definition, are utilitarian. They have a kind of boring-ish job keeping your clothes tidy in your closet and they look, well, kind of boring! So adding a little beauty to these ordinary household items is a wonderful way to add color and fun to your everyday chores.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Scrapbook paper
Wooden Hangers
Pencil
Scissors
Mod Podge
Foam brush

Things to do:
1. Lay one half of the hanger flat on the paper and trace around the outside as close to the edge of the wood as possible. Repeat with the other side of the hanger.

2. Carefully cut around the traced lines. Erase any pencil marks.

3. Paint a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the wood. Press the cut paper pieces onto the hanger and smooth out any air bubbles. Allow the glue to dry.

4. Smooth down the edges of the paper around the wood and paint another two coats of Mod Podge on top, allowing each to dry before adding the next.
