DIY Jute Faux Succulent Planter Tutorial


A shabby-chic plant display that requires no upkeep! This project is a great addition to any home decor and it’s super simple to make.

Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Cardboard cone
Moss
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Jute
Succulents
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Use hot glue to attach the end of your jute to the bottom of the cardboard cone. When the glue has dried, wrap the jute around the cone until it is completely covered. Trim the end and use hot glue to secure it in place.



2. Fill the cone with moss.

3. Arrange several succulents in the moss.

4. Trim a 20-inch piece of jute and use hot glue to attach both ends to either side of the cone to create a hanger.
