DIY Holiday Fire Starters


A fire completes a picturesque holiday scene, adding ambiance to your home for any special occasion. These quaint fire starters serve as a great, functional decoration during the winter months. Things you’ll need:
Newspaper
Pinecones
Cinnamon sticks
Jute twine
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Place two sheets of newspaper on top of each other. In the center of the newspaper sheets, place a large pinecone. If you have smaller pinecones, use three or four.

2. Place a cinnamon stick alongside the pinecone.
3. Gather the ends of the newspaper and twist them up, as if you were wrapping a present.

4. Secure the ends of the newspaper by tying a knot with twine.
