DIY Foam Sticker Stamp

There’s no need to buy expensive stamps when you can make your own for the fraction of the cost with a wooden cube and some foam stickers. It’s so quick and easy – and all but the youngest of kids can do this project on their own, with their favorite foam stickers.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15-20 minutes
Age range: 8+ (younger kids will need help with hot glue gun)

Things you’ll need:
Unfinished wood cube
Foam stickersat least enough different ones for all 6 sides of the cube
Hot glue gun and hot glue

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Many of the foam stickers have other foam parts (and in this case, a plastic crystal) mounted to them. Take all of these off, because they’ll interrupt the stamped design.

2. Find two identical stickers.

3. Pull the backing off one sticker, add some hot glue, and stick it on top of the other. This is required so your raised stamp has enough depth.

4. Remove the paper backing off the other sticker, and hot glue it to one side of the cube. Repeat this process with different stickers for the remaining 5 sides of the cube. Now you’ve got a cute and chunky stamp that your little one (or you!) can have fun with again and again!
