DIY Floral Dream Catcher Wall Hanging

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Wire cutters
Blue flowering pip berry spray
Pink plum blossom spray
Cloth covered floral wire
6″ embroidery hoop
Scissors
Gray macrame cord

Things to do:
1. Using wire cutters, cut away small branches from the floral sprays.

2. Decide how you want to arrange your flowers on the side of the hoop. Bend the flowers so that they are the same shape as the hoop’s side.

3. Using floral wire, wrap the floral pieces around the hoop. Wrap only the main branches, making sure the smaller branches are free to open out to the side. Trim the floral wire with wire cutters.

4. Cut nine strands of macrame rope that are each 26″ long.

5. Turn the embroidery hoop so that the flowers face down. Fold the rope in half, then slide the loop under the hoop.

6. Pull the ends of the rope through the loop.

7. Pull the rope taut to secure it around the hoop.

8. Continue to wrap the rope around the hoop until you have attached all nine strands.

9. If you’d like, move the rope over to cover the edge of the floral. Arrange the rope so that it evenly covers the bottom half of the hoop.
