DIY Fall Leaves Mason Jar Luminary

There’s nothing quite so beautiful as brightly colored fall leaves, don’t you think? Every year I wish I could keep those colors around through the dull days of winter. Here’s a way to keep those colors around to light up decor all winter long.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 30 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Faux fall leaves
Mason jars
Mod Podge
Foam brush
Plastic Wrap

Things to do:
1. Lay out a piece of plastic wrap a little wider than the height of the jar.

2. Paint the surface of the jar on one side and press a layer of leaves onto the glued surface, coating the leaves with a thin layer of Mod Podge as you add them.
3. Lay it on the plastic wrap, leaves down and add more leaves around the jar, layering Mod Podge and leaves until the surface of the jar is covered.
4. Pull the plastic wrap tightly around the jar to hold the leaves onto the surface.

5. Allow the glue to dry for a few days and then carefully peel the plastic wrap off of the jars. Apply one more coat of Mod Podge to seal.
