Difficulty level: Moderate
Time required: 15 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Mini wood signs
Drill and small bit (the bit should be just larger than your wire)
12 gauge wire
Flower garland
Wire cutters

Things to do:
1. Using your drill, bore two holes close to the ends of one of the signs.

2. Measure out a length of wire that is 3 inches longer than double the length of the drop you need for the swing. So, for example, if your swing needs to hang 12 inches, cut 27 inches of wire (12+12+3).
3. Feed the wire into one hole and then back up through the other. Once it’s centered, flatten the section that runs under the swing.

4. Roll the tops of the wire into hooks for hanging.

5. Cut the garland into two lengths, each 1 1/2 times as long as your swing drop. So, for a 12 inch drop, cut 18 inches of garland for each side of the swing.
6. Wrap the end of one piece of garland tightly around the wire where it meets the swing.

7. Wrap the garland around the wire, working up toward the hook. When you reach the hook, cut off any excess garland. Repeat with the other side of the swing to finish.
